Terms of Sale
Last Updated: March 10, 2025
These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) govern all purchases made on Store.Pirelli.com (the “Site”) and apply to customers in the European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK), Switzerland, Australia and New Zealand.
BY PLACING AN ORDER, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A PURCHASE.
1. ORDERING & ACCEPTANCE
- All orders placed on the Site are subject to availability and acceptance by us.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues.
- Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation email. This does not guarantee acceptance of your order. We will notify you if there are any issues.
2. PRICING, TAXES & DUTIES
European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK), Switzerland
- Prices include VAT and any applicable import duties under the Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) model.
- You will not be required to pay additional VAT, customs duties, or import fees upon delivery.
Australia & New Zealand
- We currently absorb GST for orders shipped to Australia and New Zealand.
- However, we reserve the right to change this policy in the future. If GST is not included at checkout, the customer will be responsible for any applicable GST and import duties upon delivery.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing, taxes, and duties at any time.
3. PAYMENT METHODS
- We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout.
- Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider.
- Orders will not be shipped until full payment is received and cleared.
4. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
- Orders are typically processed within 2-3 business days before shipping.
- Estimated delivery times will be displayed at checkout. While we strive to meet these estimates, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control (e.g., customs, weather, carrier issues).
- Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number.
- We are not responsible for incorrect shipping addresses provided at checkout. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping fees may apply for reshipment.
- For full details, see our Shipping Policy.
5. RETURNS & REFUNDS
For full details, see our Returns Policy.
6. CANCELLATIONS & ORDER CHANGES
For full details, see our Cancellation Policy link at the bottom of checkout pages.
7. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS
- We are not liable for delays, damages, or losses caused by third-party shipping carriers, customs authorities, or force majeure events beyond our control.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to your purchase is limited to the amount paid for the product.
8. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms are governed by the law of your country, as a consumer.
Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in Ireland, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer laws in your country.
For an alternative to resolving disputes through the courts, consumers in Australia, New Zealand, the EU, the UK, and Switzerland can direct their complaints to consumer protection agencies, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) bodies, or online dispute resolution (ODR) platforms.
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
If you have a complaint regarding our products or services, you may contact us first to seek a resolution. If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may have the right to escalate the dispute to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body, as outlined below:
- Australia: The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) (www.accc.gov.au) and relevant state-based consumer protection agencies.
- New Zealand: The New Zealand Consumer Protection Service (www.consumerprotection.govt.nz) and the Disputes Tribunal (www.justice.govt.nz).
- European Union (EU): Consumers can use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/) to seek an out-of-court settlement.
- United Kingdom (UK): The UK Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme, such as the Ombudsman Services (www.ombudsman-services.org) or the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) (www.tradingstandards.uk).
- Switzerland: The Swiss Consumer Protection Foundation (www.konsumentenschutz.ch) or the relevant Cantonal Consumer Protection Office.
